Page 10;  Cleaning up donor electronics assembly:
Compounding a few small pits on the electronics assembly plate.
Wood screw holes to be renewed with round toothpick dowels; Normal maintenance for disassembling a guitar.
Toothpick dowels inserted, broken off flush and seated by tapping with a wood chopstick punch.
Small starter pilot hole(s) to be tapped shallow into all holes with a finishing nail.

All screws were put into catalytic penetrating oil bath as soon as they were removed;  Wiped clean now before re-use.  Remaing oil film will help prevent corrosion in the future.
All 4 screws inserted to align the electronics plate and hold it in place for rear screws to then be tightened.
The rear pickup wood screws on these 'string-thru' 'bunker' pickups tend to bend forward slightly in their wood holes from string tension, as the screw below closest to th viewer shows.  They can and should be straightened by putting an extension onto a tight fitting deep socket and putting the socket over the screw for some slight bending leverage;  Doesn't take much bening pressure at all.  A small box-end wrench slipped over the screw shaft can also be used for bending leverage if a small socket is not available.

Rear screws shown tightened. Fresh dowels allow aligning screw heads like a '+' longitudinally and laterally for nice clean work.
Time to remove magnets from their recharging jig and install them.
