Additional texts on following pages will be added as I am able.
Donor electronics plate before cleanup and installation. All is well on the top side.
Notice catalytic anti-corrosion oil drops on small pits to soak before hand rubbing / buffing out.
All is well on the bottom side.  Same as the original for this steel guitar.
Interesting, but not to worry if someone finds this on their steel's capacitor:  Dust gets pulled into the electromagnetic field between the capacitor and the pickup and electronics plate, and sticks itself to that field's side of the capacitor's wax.  It looks like a fungus mold but it's just dust and will wipe off with catalytic oil applied to a Q-tip as shown further below, and wiped clean with clean Q-tips.  Wipe softly with the Q-tips to prevent wiping wax off of the capacitor.
The electronics compartment doesn't get accessed much;  So cleaning nooks and crannies is nice.  Light oil should also be applied to Q-tips and a thin film coated on metal surfaces to help prevent corrosion.
Brown paper bag paper is great for hand rubbing with oils and compounds. Pickup cap shown after first catalytic oil rubbing.
