I bought this Telecaster from Gregg Allman in 1979.  Here's an account of that purchase to answer some of the questions commonly asked over the years I've had it.  (Not that Gregg's association with the guitar makes it any better a guitar).

This was my personal main squeeze guitar from 1979 until around 1990 when I rediscovered the Silvertone Danelectro 1457.  I still played this Tele when a Tele was needed, until I stopped gigging regularly in 2003.  I loaned it to Nick Masters (of Bill Haley and The Comets in the early 1970's) for about a year in the late 1980's when his longtime favorite Gibson 335 / Fender Coronado hybrid was stolen.  Many other Pro Guitarists have played this Tele from time to time at gigs and jams, and really liked it;  It is a great Telecaster.  It's been played allot but well cared for.  Family medical bills require I sell it, otherwise I wouldn't.  I wish I had a silver dollar now for every Picker who's played this thing over the years;  I wouldn't have to sell it !
