~ Final Application of Camouflage top coats ~
Previous coats of artwork on the strings ground were done with thin acrylic paints that wouldn't stick to the backing masks;  But the top coats are mixed with water based glue for a durable top coat;  So the backing masks were covered with folded wax paper to ensure the back masks release once the top coats are dry.  When the back masks are removed we'll see how well the masked SWAG at matching the surrounding background worked.  The wire really shouldn't be noticeable unless a person is looking pretty darn close and hard.
Well now, .....this is what the back mask is for!  It also serves as a mini mixing pallet to mix tiny paint drops into the scheme.
And here's what we get before the final durable coat.  The final clear coat can be tinted to tilt the color as needed.
Think I'll make me an easter hat out of the tuna can pallet;  Should match my paint blotched art studio smock and tennis shoes quite well.
You're a well dressed man, Mr. Turner !
