Now we get to see the real treasure of this old axe.  It's a 50 year old solid slab of tree steak aged for 50 years (not counting how long it sat in a mill's and / or middle man's curing house and even in Kay's curing house), with strings vibrations having tickled it's molecules into place, AND;  It's hardware and electronics are all in great shape;  The perfect old axe just waiting to partner up with a Guitarist to blaze it's glory once again.  I sure enjoyed it when I played it off and on for several days before packing it away (I had to get some work and wasn't making good headway as long as this guitar sat on a stand next to the amps) !

She's a prime example of why a guitar vendor can't get attached to the many really cool guitars that pass through his / her hands and hearts.  But actually it's a big joy to know they will be enjoyed by many more people than sitting silent among the herd I seem to always have.  So many fine and funky old guitars .... so little time !
