Original tuners were low quality, had a bent knob shaft and that shaft's tuner button missing. Tuner buttons were deteriorated and would have crumbled with minimal to nominal amount of use, as is common with vintage tuner buttons.

As shown further below, I replaced the tuners with new exact copies of the highly acclaimed Kluson Deluxe tuners, the highest quality tuners of this Steel Guitar's era.
