Silvertone Danelectro 1448 1 pu, with amp in the case PREVIOUS OWNER REPORTS: Model 1448 Danelectro single pickup Silvertone, with amp in case. It puts out about 8 watts and works good but, I did have to replace the original speaker. The guitar is black sparkle and completely original except for replacing the tuners with an old set of Klusons. Overall it's in very nice condition for 40 years old. It has a scuff on the edge from rubbing against the case. The guitar has a short scale neck with very little fret wear. It plays and sounds great with a single lipstick tube pickup that gives the guitar that sweet bluesy sound. This guitar was recently inducted into the 2003 Vintage Guitar Hall of Fame. |
