A HANDSOME PICKGUARD / ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY / INTONEABLE ROLLER BRIDGE; FOR SERIOUS CONSIDERATION AS A CHANGE OUT AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE: THESE PICS WERE TAKEN AS SOON AS THIS GUITAR WAS RECEIVED AND THIS BODY NOT BEEN CLEANED UP YET WHEN THE PICTURES WERE TAKEN. This entire assembly will clean up remarkably well: AMENITIES of the last / improved model 1478 (See corresponding color arrows in pic below): Fully intoneable floating roller bridge; Holographic pickup top liners; Knob pointer position markers. Except for the common small REPAIRABLE crack in the pickguard, this pickguard & electronics assembly works / checks / tests / sounds and looks exceptionally good. The knobs are not original; They are Bobkat knobs; Black versions of the translucent "nuclear reactor" knobs on Coop's rascal. See original last model 1478 knobs at the bottom of this page for reference. Chrome-center black Fender amp knobs are a near substitute while original or desired knobs are sought & acquired. |

Bleaching and less-bleaching shadow evident on the back of the donor guitar. Even the spray gun strokes of the person who applied it can be seen in the bleaching of the remaining red, ....created by heavier overlaps from one stroke to another ! Guitars can tell us some remarkable things about it's history if we look closely. :~) |
