1936 Rickenbacher model B6 Bakelite PREVIOUS OWNER REPORTS: Rickenbacher Vintage ELCTRO 6 string Lap Steel Guitar -- Pat. No.1881229 -- Works great! -- Model: B -- Body: "Bakelite" with metal panels -- Not sure about the Pots. -- Tuning machines: One shaft is bent, but repairable! -- This instrument was well loved and played out a lot! -- There are minor chips, scratches, dings as one might expect from an instrument of this vintage. DENNY'S NOTE: Tone to the bone ...from the famous and beloved pre-war model B. All original EXCEPT tuners, and tone pot changed-out to 1meg. Surface has a nominal amount of the common wear marks. Original hard shell case in Very Good condition, but looks like it might have been repainted black long ago. An incomparable joy to play and hear. |
