This is where they shot the big black Nauga for the hyde to make this case.
To repair a case foot:  Lay the case flat on a sturdy surface like a table, with newspaper under the case on the table and wax paper on top of the newspaper to protect the table from any boo-boos (and wax paper will not stick to dried glue boo-boos on the case while newspaper will).  Put about a square foot of wax paper under the area where you will have your epoxy glue and glue tools.  Clean the hole out first, then mix up some clear epoxy glue (over-night drying kind) AWAY from the case. Prime / wet the cleaned hole with naptha (common cigarette lighter fluid) using a small artist brush or work it in well with a toothpick;  This will react with the epoxy and suck some of the epoxy into the case's wood like a primer when the epoxy is put in the hole.  Then fill the hole with epoxy glue, again working the glue into the hole with a toothpick, , to make sure it reaches throughout the hole, until it's full.  Press the foot's nail in tight, place a weight on top of it over night.  This will work much better than doweling the hole and driving the shoe in.
This is where the Nauga scratched his hyde slapping the bullet hole.
A very nice Fender style case in Very Good condition;  Marked a bit by the purpose a case is for.
