While making the outer carton I noticed that the cardboard had taken on some of the high humidity we've had here in the past 10 days of inclimate tropical weather.  So tonight the outer carton went under a dehumidifying tent to spend the night in warm and dry force-fan air.
Since the guitar is going to an area that is having very cold and inclimate weather, I decided I'd better put some dehumidifier in the case;  No telling what enroute changes in weather and cargo airplane pressure changes and handling environments might do.  So I made a dry raw rice bag to pack into the guitar case to dehumidify the case's interior and soak up any humidity that might try to get in enroute.  The bag is merely an envelope made from several layers of paper towels folded, about 3 cups of rice put in and taped closed:
The rice bag will sit under the heel end of the neck:
A bar of stiff foam plastic is padded in paper towels and placed over the rice bag to stabilize it under just enough pressure from the case lid pressing down onto the guitar neck:
Some extra VCI paper is added to check any condensation from humidity that might get in, ............
............Although humidity would have to be a Houdini to get past the vacuum sealed bag !

Masking tape holds the latches closed.
With outer carton pieces dried overnight, the carton could be finished by gluing the lid on.
Lid on and ready for the guitar.
All packed up and ready for labels.
With address labels on the top, the package will ship in this 'UP' orientation which will prevent large and thus usually heavy packages from being stacked on top of it.

Also NOTICE that the surface facing the camera is the LID for the carton, and is marked 'LID', and should be opened with this Lid facing upward like opening a guitar case;  See more details in next pic.
To open the package for easy removal of the guitar:

Face the Lid side up. --- Turn the package so the HINGE edge is away from you and the CUT edges are towards you. --- Use a razor knife, box cutter or other sharp knife to cut the sealing tape along the front and sides of the lid;  Then the lid will swing upward and open on it's hinge. --- The guitar case will then lift right out from it's packing nest.
Orient the package like this for opening it:
