Although there are plenty of pictures on this guitar's webpages here, ....I am still in the process of auditing and adding whatever additional info might be appropriate.

Fender Japa and Korea Squire guitars were built very well, very affordable and had tone to the bone;  Fender's way of getting seasoned professionals attention to laud those qualities.  They were among the first guitars to be manufactured with modern computerized machines that made tolerances so tight it was phoenominal to us old headhunters.  So as a very seasoned professional guitarist, I can tell you that the Fender Squiers made in Japan and Korea are very well made, play extremely well and have tone the bone.  Were I looking for a Fender to gig with, I would specificly look for these Japan and Korea Squiers (and older USA Squires).

If desired, you can Click Here for info at the bottom of this page about Fender Japan and Korea Squires tones and why.  A link there returns to this top of page.

I hope you enjoy the tour of pictures on these pages.

Or read here about balancing pickups dynamics vs stable signal;
The "secret" to Fender Japan & Korea Squiers tone to the bone:

First let's keep in mind that the pickups on Fender Korean Squires are made to have a static impedence of right at 6K.

I would describe Fender Korea Squire Telecasters and Stratocasters sounds as true to both guitars signature sounds ...particularly old vintage back when their pickup magnets were new (nicely mellower now they've aged), with a kiss of dynamics.  Picture having a great sounding Fender with a nymphomaniac's kiss of Danelectro.

I discovered how great Fender Japan and Korea Squiers play and sound back in the early 1990's, and have been promoting them ever since (not so with Squiers made elsewhere ....although their newer guitars show allot of attention being payed to modeling and marketing, which usually means better qualities are built in to back up such marketing.  I am not the only professional by far that prefers the sound of Fender Japan and Korea Squiers over Fender USA guitars.  Standard Fender guitars are made to appeal to a much broader market than professionals and thus their standard models are much tamer than the much higher dynamics of their old vintage standard guitars and Fender Japan / Korea vintage Squier guitars.

Now, for Pickers that might not be aware:  The Fender Korean Squier guitars had tone to the bone.  Their pickups followed a vintage style and tone modeling that Fender Japan had gone back to during the time they were the only factory making Fender guitars ...while the new Fender factory was being built back in the USA.  That Fender Japan vintage reissue initiative & period is now known to be one of the highest quality periods for Fender, and the guitars now well known to be very good reissues of Fender's best vintage guitars and years.  Some of the best sounding old vintage Fenders had pickups with static impedence right at 6K.  That is the magic number below which dynamics start to take on prominance over higher output but more stable signal (sound) above 6K.  Squier was made in Japan during that period but was transferred to Korea around the time that Fender USA opened it's new factory and reorganized it's manufacturing.  The fine coil wire and 6K pickup modeling continued at Fender Squier in Korea.

So what does all that mean?  Professionals that want their guitars to respond to every playing technique nuance, know that strong dynamics is th trick, ...such as Danelectro guitars are famous for with those lipstick pickups between 4K and 5K in old vintage manufacturing tolerances, and dead-on 4K in modern reissue tolerances.  Highly dynamic DeArmonds found on Harmony and Gretsch guitars had some model impedences as low as 1K !  The problem in marketing low impedence pickups and thus high dynamics way back then was that the vast majority of the then-new guitar craze market was people that didn't know how to play very well yet, and couldn't handle / control the high dynamics that responded to every playing nuance whether it was good technique or bad technique;  So the majority of the market desired stable signal that sounded pretty much the same no matter how they "frammed" on their guitars.  That was achieved by more windings in a pickup which also gave the pickup more output voltage, ....but at the expense of dynamics.  As the number of guitarists that got good rose in the 1970's, so did the advent of stomp boxes;  And stomp boxes often accentuated dynamics;  So many good guitarists still preferred lower dynamic and more stable higher impedence pickups, .....using stomp boxes to get the sound they desired.  BUT, there were also good experienced guitarists who realized early-on the magic of high dynamics;  Indeed that's what the rediscovery of old guitars and amps was mostly about; Low unstable fidelity that provided high dynamics, .....screaming like a scalded banshee when desired, or wonder cleaner sounds with the amp's gain rolled back, ....and wonderful tones with the guitar's tone and even volume controls rolled back a bit ........way back on the tone for very acoustic-like tones.

The Fender Korea Squires were not only very well made for their price (a heckuva lot better made than old vintage Danelectros that are highly sought after among knowledgeable Players.

Now Fender brand Telecasters have a grand and famous tone that can be rounded quite well with the pickup selector, volume and tone controls;  But that tone is all Tele, and little else.  Not so with the Fender Korea Squire Telecasters and Stratocasters.  They have THE dead-on best balance of dynamics and stable signal, so you can get the best of both worlds with knowledgeable use of the guitars controls and an amps controls (particularly knowledgeable use of an amp's gain and tone controls).

Again, picture killer Fender Telecaster tones with a heavy kiss of Danelectro dynamics.  Tone to the freakin' bone;  And tone to the bone is what I specialize in, ....so you can "take it to the bank".
