In keeping with Industry Standards for vintage guitars; I do not clean them unless a Buyer desires that I do; And I am delighted to expertly do so; The Industry Standard to "not touch" a vintage instrument is to keep unqualified Folks from ruining a vintage instrument. This Steel will clean up wonderfully. |
The handrest / pickup-cover is spring loaded toward the down position and an easy lift up; MUCH handier than the Gibson BR6 this Steel is obviously made to compete with, ....especially during strings changes. The cover can be easily removed with 2 screws should a Player desire that for hand blocking picking technique. |
This Steel looks as remarkably good in real life as it does in these photos. The fretboard, pickguard and hand cover are red-copper vacuum molded "plexiglas". Beautiful. |
