These pages are yet another archive of my shop's work, for the Customer who ordered it, and in hopes that it might help someone else that would otherwsie be going into an instrument not knowing what's in there. It's allot better to be able to see inside, and see work done in there, and learn from the previous experience of the tech who was in there and archived the project. Refurbishing this Steel is an ongoing work in progress. I have studied options for refurbishing, repairing or retrofitting this Steel's electronics that were quite archaic, probably due to the industrial materials shortage at the end of the Great Depresssion and during WWII's materials rationing. I will add supporting text of details in these pictures as soon as I am able. I am refurbishing the electronics and hardware, while the Buyer / Customer will refinish the flamed maple top and deco faux flamed sides. The Customer does very fine refinishing work.
