1960's Silvertone Danelectro 1448 Guitar only, no amp-case ( I might have a a matching amp-case for this guitar at any given time ) PREVIOUS OWNER REPORTS: This is in excellent shape with all hardware intact and original--no breaks, cracks or repairs. Electronics, bridge, tuners all work fine, and there is very minimal wear to the neck, frets, and fingerboard. The action is good, and probably could be lowered a bit by adjusting the bridge or shimming the neck if desired, but, I love it the way it is. The neck has a very, very slight bow to it, but way less than your average 35-40 year old Silvertone, Danelectro, Harmony, Kay, etc. The finish is in great shape with just a few minor dings. Also in great shape is the white vinyl side covering (which you usally find aged yellow to beige color, but this is still white!). |
