Inspection / Condition Reports
and Warranties:

I get allot of casual inquiries I enjoy answering when I can, such as information about a guitar that is packed safely away from the elements (most are);  .....and as all shops do, I get some email tire-kickers that appreciate some attention too.  I try to (and do a pretty good job) of managing my time and services so that paying customers don't have to pay for such overhead shop time;  ie. I ain't gonna go pull and unpack a guitar for a casual inquiry !

SO:

My guitars are discount-priced & sold As-Is  /  No Warranty  /  No Return  /  No refund, OR:

DETAILED CONDITION REPORTS:  If a Buyer desires additional pictures and/or details about a guitar's condition beyond what is posted in it's webpage description, then upon receiving an inspection / report fee of $25, I will unpack the guitar, take additional pictures if desired and / or if desired do a detailed bench test & inspection and provide a detailed report.  The $25 inspection fee will be applied to the purchase (deducted from the price) of the guitar, and / or;

WARRANTY:  If a Buyer (in the USA) desires a warranty, then for an and additional warranty fee equal to the shipping estimate cost, I will guarantee an instrument for 7 days to be as described;  And if during that 7 days a Buyer finds it to not be in the condition described, then I will give a full refund of:
(1) the $25 inspection / report fee (if purchased), and;
(2) the guitar purchase price, and;
(3) the cost of shipping to the Buyer, and;
(4) the cost of return shipping back to me (USPS Priority Mail).
PLUS, if within 48 hours of a Buyer receiving a Warrantied purchase, the Buyer accepts their purchase AS-IS with No Further Warranty / No Return / No Refund and notifies me of same within that time period, ...then I will even refund the Warranty fee!

I OFFER NO WARRANTIES ON SALES NOR SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE THE USA. This is because I use the FBI Internet Task Force to quickly fix the few fraud attempts I have encountered (and those folks sure wish they had not tried ! ), ...and the FBI cannot effect immediate / quick / scary jurisdiction outside the USA (although they can and do effect jurisdiction for international fraud attempts which I always report to them).

Additional protection for a Buyer:  In any event, even if a guitar is purchased As-Is, I pull, inspect and test it in detail when it's paid for.   If I find any unreasonable / abnormal issues not provided in the description of the item on my website (which I rarely find), then I will hold-up packing, inform the Buyer and afford him / her ample time to respond.  If any such issue cannot be corrected or accepted to the Buyer's satisfaction, ...then I will cancel the order and provide a full and timely refund.

You can bet that before I ship a Buyer an instrument I try my best to make sure he / she will be satisfied.  Please see my homepage guestbook for customer reports and references.

I do not issue any warranty refunds until the item is returned and the customer's dis-satisfaction quickly verified.  To protect and help customers should shipping damage occur, and to protect me from the very few dishonest folks, I take thorough high resolution pictures of merchandise prior to shipping.

Thank You,
