~  End of Packing Report  ~
The guitar is packed snug in the case and the case is packed in a water proof bag.  Masking tape straps on the outside of the bag hold case latches from springing in shipment and holds lid closed.

EASY OPENING:  Use a pair of scissors to cut a slit down the center longwise which easily releases the tape and vacuum gathered bag.

The vibrato arm is in the guitar case's inside assessory pocket, wrapped in special brown paper .
Here is the custom cut outer carton.  Insect repellant was lightly misted into the packing paper to prevent any stray pregnant life forms from hitching a ride interstate.
Shown below is the reverse packing sequence that will be encountered when opening the carton as shown in the picture sequence below:

EASY OPENING:  Open the package with the LID side facing up as shown below and marked on carton.    Use a razor knife or sharp knife to easily cut  the packing tape along the joints of the LID's 3 outer edges marked "CUT EDGE";  Then lift the LID to hinge on the rear edge marked "HINGE EDGE", like opening a hardshell guitar case.  The "UP" arrow is only for USPS during shipping, ....where that end up provides only a small top surface that prevents larege / heavy packages from being stacked on top of this one; ...and that surface being up orients the guitar's butt down, the safest position for shipping.  :
Take out the upper paper covering the guitar case.  Then simply lift the guitar case from the carton:
The guitar is suspended in the center of the package by wads of newspaper:
The vibrato arm's attaching screw, washers and self locking nut are attached to the vibrato arm that is packed in special brown paper in the guitar case's assessory pocket. The vibrato arm screw goes through the arm, then through a washer, then through the vibrato assembly's top "scoop" plate, then through another washer before going into the self-locking nut.  The nut feels very tight on the threads;  It's supposed to.  Tighten the nut down until the vibrato has the amount of swing-away friction desired. TRICK:  Size your wrench to fit the nut AND to reach under the plate BEFORE assembling the arm to the plate;  It's difficult to reach in and size the wrench to the nut under the "scoop" plate when the arm is already attached to the plate.
